Grading Policy: Grade will be based on a midterm exam, 30%; an essay 20% and 50% final exam.

Course Outline:

This course includes two main subject. First subject is the evolution of capitalist economy since industrial revolution. The second subject is the economic history of Ottoman Empire. Probably first subject will take 7 or 8 weeks. Then we are going to skip second subject. Course outline and reading list for the second subject will be announced later.
