The objective of this course is to give the student the basic knowledge and debates about economic history. To achieve this aim the active participation of students is necessary. Students are obliged to read all text given by instructor and expected to participate discussions in class.
Grading Policy:
There will be one mid-term examination and a book review (details will be announced later) instead of second midterm exam. Of course there will be a comprehensive final examination
Midterm exam and the review will account for 25% each and final exam 50% of the final grade. You are also required to get at least 50 out of 100 in the final exam, no matter what your grades were in the two midterms.
